*sigh*

Okay, so,...

Scavanger hunt part 7.893

The psychiatrist is back from vacation.
He offered me a spot on friday and I answered, "sorry, have to work friday.. we'll have to reschedule"
Then my bosswoman sends me a message, gives me friday off in trade for working all next week.
So I message him back and go "friday cleared up, can come then, reply asap please so I can get the cheapest available flight before it gets all booked up"
Hours pass, flights that I can afford become sold out.
The next day he replies with "see you friday" (no time, no place..)
I can't afford the other ways to get home.
I can get a free ride to Rvk.
I've waited and done "nothing" for so long that I'm dying to go and see him and FINALLY get it actually started.

I feel heartbroken cause.. I might have to email him at the end of the day with a "nevermind, can't afford it, maybe next month"
I'm done waiting.
I'm so exhausted with this bs...

I'm tempted to go and "figure something out" afterwards for the sake of getting home but I can't afford to miss work either.

I'm at my "wit's end" sort of speak.
I can't take more waiting.
I need this.
And it looks like I can't go...

Oh my god! Yes! Finally!

Congratulations Miniar! Go for it, honey! Yay!

Don't be nervous, though! Well, actually, be nervous. Because that's normal. We all get that. But there's nothing to be nervous about really. Just be proud and excited!  :D

*happydance*

Go Miniar!

Score!  We can have a fabulous week together!  I'm so happy for you!  You'll feel better once it's over (hopefully).

Tomorrow's the appt. and then home by flight shortly there after.

I'm crashing on a couple mattresses in dad's livingroom where I get to hear that "transsexualism is escapism" (though he admits that's his opinion and his opinion is his problem and shouldn't be mine) and watch Animal Planet while I wait.

I think I'll go outside today, wander around and smoke too many fills of the pipe,.. just so I don't have to sit here and think.

Whaaaat?

Yep. According to dad, it's taking all your actual problems and putting them up as something that's not your fault, that you can do for cosmetic reasons, so you don't have to acctually deal with your problems.
He still has a hard time with my fibromyalgia, and struggles not to see that as "Lazy", too.

Family can be so cruel. It took me 15 seconds to Google fibromyalgia and see some of the symptoms were fatigue and insomnia. I know too well what a lack of sleep can do. Well you can say that fibromyalgia is also known as FMS  and you can say that stands for Female to Male Syndrome. :P He probably won't find that very funny but if he wants to be like that, may as well have some fun with it.

Good luck with that.  Your dad and I would fight.

Fighting with my dad is as pointless as fighting with me. It's amusing how alike we function.
If you present him with objectively documented evidence in a calm and rational manner however, Then you'll get somewhere.
