Nah, he's genuine. He doesn't really push me into believing anything, because he didn't come from a completely typical FtM background.
....
Hormone blockers? Wouldn't work. I've asked about getting whatever I could, whether it was T or hormone blockers. I started puberty when I was 9, so it's too late for blockers, but I'm too young for T.

Ah, I'm glad that therapist is a good fit then!  It would be very stressful to be invalidated by another FtM like that.

Also, I can TOTALLY relate to the ridiculously early puberty.  I'm sorry man.  That sucks. :(

It would be very contradictory! And depressing.

I thought I was the only person who had to deal with early puberty! Oh thank gosh! Well, I mean... It's good to know that I'm not some kind of early-puberty-freak or something.

I can't remember if I said hello yet or not

if I did, enjoy your deja vu  :P

if not, hiya! Welcome to susans

I'm part of the early puberty club too, 10 year olds should never have B cups, it just aint right ::)

Welcome!  (a few days late :D)  I think everything's already been said...and ditto on ridiculously early puberty.  Bleah.  ;D
If curiosity really killed the cat, I'd already be dead.

I'm new here too, but hello anyway.

I was one of those unlucky early-puberty people too; my first 'time of the month' was just before I turned 9. not cool.

Well, I know I'm really late, :embarrassed:  :) but welcome to the family!

I wouldn't worry about that "typical FTM childhood" crap. "Normal" people all grow up differently, but suddenly when a person is faced with someone that is not "normal", they have to fit a description exactly.  :eusa_doh: Example: all the famous musicians didn't grow up the same way; they each had different interests as children, and some of them showed nothing that would hint to musical talent till they were older. Same situation here. Only difference is that there is an easy way to prove that you are a good musician, but not an easy way to prove you are FTM.

Anyway, I don't know how old you are, but I didn't figure out what the problem was till I hit puberty (I was 10, and already had B-cup chest :( ). Great time to find out, huh? And parents tend to think it's a phase. I guess they'll get the fact that it's not eventually.

I'm rambling. But in any case, we are glad to have you here, and would be happy to listen to any story you might have to share with us.  :)

I'm amazed at how many of you started puberty so early. I was 13-14 before starting. I don't know your guys exact ages, but I'm thinking alot of you are in your 20's?

If so, this is just farther proof that the growth hormones they use on livestock are making children physically mature faster. I remember that if anyone was starting to mature at 11 they were considered a "freak" and made fun of. :-X

Hola Patrick! Es un placer conocerte, y bienvenido a Susan's! :icon_wave:

(A.k.a. Spanish is awesome. :D).

Anyhoo, yes, it really is lovely to cyberly meet you, and as everyone's said, don't be scared, we don't bite, it's always nice to have another brother here. Hope you enjoy your time with us, and that you find all the help you need. From what I've experienced here, the support and advice are amazing, it really is a wonderful family to be a part of. (And never be scared to read the threads without posting, nor to speak up if you have something to say, both are equally fine).

And yes, early puberty is not cool. I "started" when I was 11. Not as young as some of the guys here, but ickily young enough. As for childhood, I was always into dancing and art, and playing fighter aircraft in the schoolyard (running around with your arms out like planes trying to shoot each other down. Very pacifist sort of stuff :P), and science and music and bright glittery shiny essence-of-oooooh! sort of stuff and building gianormous Lego towers and bulldozing them with my head. If Mum's telling me I can't be a guy because I've always been really feminine weren't so irritating, it would be funny. ::)

Anyway, yes, please don't feel marginalised or left out, you really aren't. :icon_hug:

I'm 20. Ironically, I was made fun of because a lot of the kids on my estate thought I was a boy, and then I grew boobs.

Ha ha, now I have someone younger to taunt!  Whoops, I meant to say welcome to Susan's.  Freudian slip.

Indeed. 13 -14 is considered late enough to call a doctor over now.

There was a girl across the road from me when I was growing up. Her mother worked in a chicken factory for 6 years before they moved to my area. Needless to say, the children were fed on chicken as a primary food source. The girl? She got her periods at 7. She had a fully developed female woman body (very feminine looking) at 11. In the mid-90's that was still crazy young.

You know those chickens servered as food? At their "adult size", they're actually 6 weeks old. Go go Yellow #47!

Really? That's insane. Needless to say I was happy about my "delayed" puberty because I was hoping I wouldn't start looking more female. Oh well. :)

Hmm. . . I didn't get my period (luckily) until 14. But then I'm a vegetarian.

Welcome to the site, the people are all really understanding here.

Wow! I haven't checked my little post for a really long time! I've gotta say, thank you all for welcoming me, even if it was a bit late, because all of it is welcomed!

Hopefully, I'll become more active in the forums!

13-14? Really? I thought it would be like... 15 or 16. (Then again, I didn't pay attention in the girl's segment of "Health Class".)

Ah, the chickens. In heard about that on the news. Every dinner for me consisted of chicken, or steak, or meatballs and maybe a vegetable or two. And a starch. Too bad I didn't become vegetarian earlier. =(

vegetarian for 37 years. Puberty at 11.  So much for that theory.

Like all real families, we're a little bit dysfunctional.  Except those of us from California, we're not from a dysfunctional family, we're products of a dysfunctional state.

Well said Tekla!

But yes welcome Patrick, it is nice of you to join us! I hope you find this site useful and don't ever hesitate to ask if you have nay questions. :)

Alyx.

DO NOT FEAR US, BOYLING. WE COME IN PEACE.

...wait, reading is a girl thing? Sence when? Geez, I was a girly little child then wasn't I? o_o I always thought it was a boy thing.

I didn't get my pubery 'till pretty late. It was pretty sweet. =D

I'm 17 now, so I may be attending my last year of high school as a girl. We have something in common, eh? Nice to see a younger face among all these old people! =)

If you do not agree to my demands... TOO LATE

Always raises a laugh

What is old BTW?

Anyone 10 yrs older than you? It's a bit like alcholism, an alcholic is some one who drinks more than their GP (family Dr).

Laughs and Fun
