Ah yes. Welcome to womanhood. That's one of the things that I am
so glad to leave behind! It's so frustrating when you're upset and really want to make a point, but you're so choked up that you can hardly talk, and you know if you try you'll just start crying. Unfortunately, after over 30 years of estrogen induced bawling, I still never found a way to really control it.

The only thing that ever helped (and only to a degree) was to take deep, slow breaths and try to dissociate from the emotion. Concentrate on relaxing, and imagine your chest is hollow and empty. Also, try not to think about how the situation makes you
feel, but try to approach it from a purely logical standpoint. I know, not always easy under the circumstances. I wish you luck.
