I've been getting fairly good results from Nutrimin-C, they make a clay mask that is fantastic for smoothing and moisturising, and goes to work on those pores. I know you don't think you need to moisturise but you'd be suprised.

Do you smoke and sunbathe a lot or are you being good?

I've been thinking about a chemical peel too. I smoked for a couple years before deciding it was stupid, but it really did a number on my skin. I was thinking burning off this smoke damaged boy skin might not be a bad idea, I dunno, maybe in the fall when it's easier to avoid the sun.

I can't find much price information on chemical peels, I wonder what would be considered a 'good deal' on one.

At the risk of sound like a commercial... I have been using the Timewise line form Mary Kay. The whole kit has Microderm abrasion, Microderm replenish, 3-in-1 facial clenser, Daytime SPF lotion, Night time skin conditioner, Firming eye cream, and foundation.

I have been using it for 3 weeks now and I am beyond amazed at how clear and smooth it has left my face. My shaves are closer and my makeup goes on much smoother. I also use less makeup then I used to because I don't have so many flaws to cover up. I'm totally hooked on it.

Emme (for those of you who remember her) got me hooked on it after she started selling it. If your interested send me a PM and I can provide you with more information.

I took a "before" picture I'll see if I can get a good "after" shot to show the difference.

Currently I'm only using an exfoliant cream (vichy normaderm) and I like what it does, it makes the skin a bit smoother, but also it seems like I get a bit pale from it, like marble. But I would like something that made the skin softer and smoother. I don't have dry skin, so I'm thinking that I probably don't need any kind of moisturizing stuff, but it is kind of rough, not sure what word that would describe it better. And I do have some large pores and I don't like the skin under the eyes, kind of looks like tiny bumps on the skin there. :-\

Cheimical peels actually caused a lot of problem in my face about 3-5 years ago.

I also had many noticeable pores, as my face is oily and I exercise outdoors frequnetly. A doctor recommended me to massage my face with ices from the home refrigerator. I have massaged my face with one or two pieces of ice (ice will melt down by face heat), esepcially after exercising or sweating.

Results: No more skin problem. Pores look greatly unnoticeable. Facial skin became more elastic. Fine wrinkles greatly reduced.

Whenever I feel my face is hot, I massage my face with ices (or wash with cold water).
I just apply an inexpensive skin lotion before going bed.

I had serious acne problems about 4 years ago after using skin peel kits:

Nowadays, acnes no longer break out. And wearing foundation can conceal pores:

I'm all for natural remedies, don't want to become addicted to some expensive cream with a billion ingredients, and then maybe have them stop producing it.

I rub my face in olive oil a few days a week for my dry skin. Put cucumber slices on my eyes if I look tired. Exfoliate with sugar.

It works great :)

I never let soap touch my face but wash with a "face wash" - either Olay or Neutrogena.  Don't rub with the towel; just pat dry.  Then I use Neutrogena anti-oxidant creams - day lotion in the morning and night cream at night.  And drink water, use sunscreen, don't smoke, etc.  I'm a woman "of a certain age" and have had good luck with these. :)
