Aussie Jay

Hey All,
Apologies I missed this section! I have been posting here for a few weeks now but here goes...
I am a 26 year old bio-female from Australia (any other Aussies here??).
I identify as more masculine than feminine and consider myself an FTM transsexual but I guess saying it to anyone still scares me a bit. I have always been more boyish than girly. I have always shopped in the men's department for clothes and shoes, the only thing I wore that were from the women's were my underwear and bras – because mum bought them! I don't own any makeup and wouldn't wear it if I did.
Even as a kid my mum would try and put me in girl's clothes and dresses etc but I just wouldn't have a bar of it and usually ended up in ralls or pants! I always played sports and the only Barbie doll I own is still in its box and never been played with. I cut my hair when I was 10 and ever since it has just gotten progressively shorter. I have grown it out a few times since then but it never really lasted that long. Currently I wear it high and tight, short back and sides number 1 comb and taper the top. I wear it messy – just the way I like it!
I have only recently started binding – and I don't always do it as I'm still getting used to them! I don't use a packer and am yet to fully understand the STP devices as the medicine spoons I have seen here look way too small!! I have a history of depression, anxiety and adjustment disorder – go me! And the only person I have told about feeling trans is my current therapist and he says go forth and learn!! So I have a whole bunch of books to read, couple of movies, this forum and of course the wonderful YouTube!! I look forward to chatting, making friends and learning a lot about me and who I can be. Any questions please ask – I am an open book, here anyways!!
Cheers everyone

Hi Jay, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 2700 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out

Hi Jay! Plenty of info here, as well as the wiki for this place (I'm sure I've seen the link around here somewhere  ;)). Make yourself at home and feel free to ask us questions too :).
