I voted ambidextrious. I do some things lefty, some things righty. But most things with either hand
I think that is how most of us are with it (I voted the same)

Born sinister, voted ambidextrous; although when right-handed I do have a hook-grip. I write more with my right hand, but only 'cause the school I started at as a kid (private, religious) used to whack me with a ruler whenever I picked up a pencil with my left hand. Do most everything with whichever hand is more convenient (have used mouse on computer both left and right-handed) but often default to right, because that's what tools are made for (scissors spring instantly to mind - agh). It is of note that my handwriting, no matter how hard I try, always sucks; with either hand.

Mother was one of four, father was older of two. All three of my half-siblings are right handed, all my parents, grandparents, etc I know are right handed. I wonder if the milkman was a leftie...  ::)

I went to a public school. But my first grade teacher would do the same. She would smack my hand with a yard stick for writing lefty. Then she would nearly crush the pencil in my right hand and say "You write with your right hand"

One day I anticipated her approaching from behind. When I heard the swish of the yard stick, I flipped my hands over and caught it. Then smacked her in the forehead with it. The hang hole made a red dot like what folks from India have

When I explained what was going on to the Principal and other students concurred, I was transferred to another class and the teacher was reprimanded.

Ironically, I ended up having to learn to do things right handed anyway because I broke my left collar bone.

Hey this is becoming really mysterious and eerie now that more than half of transsexuals are lefties/ambidextrous when in real life in a mix society with straights and all the rest, majority are right handed. Someone seriously needs to make a research between transsexuals and being left handed.

Any thread called 'lefties' is going to have mostly 'lefties' reply to it, ergo, the inflated sense of numbers.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

That doesn't necessarily account for the twice normal number of ambis.

Nope. I can't change it now.

I do some stuff right handed (writing, holding phone), while other stuff left handed (keyboard/mouse, eating). I seem to prefer my left hand most of the time though. I guess that makes me ambidextrous. I also seem to be left foot/leg dominant, must be from working the clutch in my car.

My mother has 4 siblings and 4 "half" siblings. I'm the only child.
