Lisa Vogel, one of the founders of the Michfest, I feel a degree of sympathy for her because of the long running debate about the "Womyn Born Womyn" policy, which in the case of the Michfest was her policy originally. On the one hand she has those who would want this policy to be dropped so transsexual and "Gender variant" (I assume that means "intersex in the Michigan taxonomy) can be let in. On the other she has the likes of the New Radical Lesbian Feminist Front who want the WBW policy to stay.
