I noticed pretty much anyone on T gets super hairy, many times they do more than men who are not on this sort of therapy.
Did anyone else notice that?
Seems like anyone I met, and now heard of over here, have a forest at the chests, legs, thighs..
Could it be the double androgen receptors?
Maybe, but I think some FTMs tend to overestimate the amount of hair they get in relation to the amount of hair many cismales have. Since we're born and live with the much more minimal female body hair growth for a number of years, the amount of hair growth caused by T can seem rather shocking - but based on all the FTMs and FTM pictures I've seen, I don't think most of us ACTUALLY grow any more hair than we would have had we been born XY.
And just so you can tick that hairy-FTM-encounter-statistic down to 99%, I've been on T for 5.5 months and I only have slightly more thigh hair (and all of my leg hair has darkened slightly, but it's nowhere near black), blooming sideburns (which are coming in very nicely) and some darkened chin/throat growth (my dad's very big on the throat growth). I have no hint of back hair, exactly five chest hairs (two more than I had pre-T), and - very happily - no butt crack hair. I come from a reasonably non-hairy family (my mom is English, and my dad, despite being Russian, has little chest hair and almost no back hair at all), so chalk one more up to the all-mighty "Everything's DNA".
Edit: And (which I forgot initially, despite the TITLE OF THE THREAD), I have developed a thin, rather cute (and nowhere near foresty) happy trail. And yes, it does make me happy.
