Want one.  But all I have is hair everywhere all over my gut.  None above and none below.

I had a happy trail long before T.  Before I decided to transition I found it a little embarrassing.  Now I don't really have an opinion one way or the other.

What I find interesting is how much I'm growing to like the hair that's sprouting all over my thighs,  Never thought I would, before.  :icon_confused2:

Soon you'd start marking territory like tigers! :D
Shush...! ignore that last line :)

Nathan.

I have one and i'm not on T yet. It will make me happier when I lose weight...

When I get one, I will proudly display it for a week.  Then I will shave it off; they're ugly.  Actually, I probably won't have much of one, so I probably won't bother.

I loved my happy trail when I had one pre-t.  Now I just have a forest growing on my belly.  Genetic predisposition for body hair FTW  ;D

yea, i think im going to end up with a much harier bely the way im going.  it started out like a little strip of trees, now its like a reforestation project has baan taken up on my stomach.

I wish I had a more noticeable one.  I've always had a slight one before T, now there's a bit more hair but not much.  I'm happy, but I'll be more happy when it gets hairier
;D

I noticed pretty much anyone on T gets super hairy, many times they do more than men who are not on this sort of therapy.

Did anyone else notice that?
Seems like anyone I met, and now heard of over here, have a forest at the chests, legs, thighs..

Could it be the double androgen receptors?

Maybe, but I think some FTMs tend to overestimate the amount of hair they get in relation to the amount of hair many cismales have. Since we're born and live with the much more minimal female body hair growth for a number of years, the amount of hair growth caused by T can seem rather shocking - but based on all the FTMs and FTM pictures I've seen, I don't think most of us ACTUALLY grow any more hair than we would have had we been born XY.

And just so you can tick that hairy-FTM-encounter-statistic down to 99%, I've been on T for 5.5 months and I only have slightly more thigh hair (and all of my leg hair has darkened slightly, but it's nowhere near black), blooming sideburns (which are coming in very nicely) and some darkened chin/throat growth (my dad's very big on the throat growth). I have no hint of back hair, exactly five chest hairs (two more than I had pre-T), and - very happily - no butt crack hair. I come from a reasonably non-hairy family (my mom is English, and my dad, despite being Russian, has little chest hair and almost no back hair at all), so chalk one more up to the all-mighty "Everything's DNA".

Edit: And (which I forgot initially, despite the TITLE OF THE THREAD), I have developed a thin, rather cute (and nowhere near foresty) happy trail. And yes, it does make me happy.

I had a slight happy trail and hair on my toes & feet since a teenager. I'm not sure what happened but a few years ago they just... disappeared. :-\ I'm hoping they'll come back soon being on T. I really liked them.

they would... if I had one.  nah, I'm not hoping for much more hair. I've got some under my navel, that's it.

Lost mine when i gave birth. It is slowly making a comeback, a 21 year comeback that T will hopefully speed up.

So, uh, are you asking us to contemplate the area around our navels?   :icon_blink: (Sorry, some days I can't resist the bad jokes.  ;) )

oooh yes my new happy trail makes me very happy! i have always wanted one but was always oh-so-smooth. the cismen in my family aren't terribly hairy, which i'm cool with. i now have the happy trail, thigh hair and my shin hair is a lot thicker than it used to be.

i'm pretty happy that i have fine, light body hair and not body pubes ;)
