About a months ago, the Daily Telegraph a UK paper did a story on a successful "Transperson" (PfC terminology) who was in my view presented in the press as an impossible role model. Her name is Kate Craig-Wood who in media spin has had a very nice life, and after easily earning £50,000, she had this Gwyneth Paltrow lookalike facial surgery. She then appears in the Telergaph pretty much bragging about how she "Passes" and how much it cost to "Pass" and how fortunate she was. And yes the Telegraph were lapping it up.
