Leigh McInnis Gaetjens, a self-described "transsexual lesbian girl living in a cruel world," is now facing the distinct possibility that reality is about to get crueler.

Gaetjens was booked into the Marin County jail Tuesday on felony car theft and evading police charges after allegedly leading officers on a bizarre high-speed 30-minute chase across two counties in a stolen city-owned utility truck that had been swiped from a San Francisco worker trying to steam clean Justin Herman Plaza in the pre-dawn hours.
