Or they just pick up and become your boss at some point.  The net is excellent training for dealing with behaviors that you will encounter in real life, more than you wish to.

Hi Tekla, I never thought about it that way but it certainly has a ring of possibilety to what you say. I would not want to go as far as trying to analyze someone over the net, but I cannot and will not say it is not possible.

Perhaps it's a lesson about picking your battles in life. Especially for someone transgendered, we get enough to choose from. Internet trolls are a lot less troublesome than real life trolls. Which are easier to deal with than people who are serious.

edit: Motherf, I wait days to reply to this thread, decide mister and tekla aren't going to bother, and I get beaten while afk.

Went rather well with a bottle of chianti

To simplify in my understanding of Karma,
Karma like any other duality, it is like a double edged sword. There are equally good and negative results. Simply put, what one puts out to universe is what one gets back.

You are master of your own destiny, the choices you make today are what you will be manifesting for yourself in the future.

Well I don't just hope this guy gets what he deserves. I know he's gonna get it. What goes around comes around. There's not much use in hoping for it. What I really hope and wish is that this guy gets banned. Or at least leaves the forum.\

I haven't had a chance to deal with real life trolls. I better take lessons now for holding back my temper for the day I encounter one. My temper, unfortunatley, is very short

Ahh, if the world worked like that, if the best musicians made it and not just the pretty ones with the gimmick.  If nice guys really finished first, instead of being the first ones eliminated.  If vicious power-hungry people really didn't make it to the top by being vicious and power-hungry. Granted the ones on the internet may be cruder at it, but they are just in practice.  They will get more cunning as they go along.  They might well turn out to be the kind of people who can rob you blind and leaving you thinking that you were special because they choose you to rob.

Much like a knife, the tongue is a tool of the heart, it can be used
for great benefit or for great harm. How your heart wields your tounge
has great influence upon the nature of karma which you garner for yourself.

I don't envy the gimmicky pretty ones because as painful as it
is for me to watch them rise, it is much more painful for them, as
they fall. I will forget them and their deeds but they never can.

Dearest James,

I am so sorry that you have had to experience a "troll" especially at at time of your mother's illness. I have noticed that everyone here at Susan's are very loving people and very polite. That is to the credit of everyone here. What I find remarkable here is that posts are not pre-viewed before being visible. From what I have seen here, everyone is repsectful and no posts have to be removed. I am sure that has happened, but obviously it is a rarity here.
I am a forum moderator at another site and trolls are immediately discovered and banned. We watch for the following types

Admirers,
Posers,
Trolls,
Predators,

Anyone who is identified as the above list is banned.. permanently.

Unfortunately sometimes this is true. Our society appears to reward and promotes this kind of behavior. To excel and step on everyone's toes in the process.
But this isn't true for everyone. I think good honest work and kindness would trump it in the end.
I could be wrong... but I'm an idealist.

Our society

And you think that other societies, like so say, the Holy Roman Empire, or Classical Rome and Greece, or any other society is really constructed any differently?

That's why I'm thinking of taking a break from that other site and just coming here for when I have computer time and nothing to do. This place seems a lot more friendlier in other ways the other forum is not.

And the way you say you ban those people on the forum you're on, that kind of work needs to be done on the other forum I'm on. If that forum had mods like that on there, the forum would be wonderful. The admins there are too "sweet" I guess is the best way to put it. They need to get off their ass and ban people like Roy-Nilsson (which is the troll's username)

I would lmao if he say me typing this :D
