Organization-activation becomes distorted by attempts to make it fit the prevailing dogma.
Prior to the advent of John Money's theories something very close to organization-activation existed in the form of a biology is destiny paradigm.
Humans were understood to be born with innate or instinctive biological characteristics which were overlaid by individual experiences to produce a finished adult self. Personal responsibility lay in the individual's capacity to control those characteristics.
