Dissidia: Final Fantasy for the PSP

One of the best fighting games I have ever played
Dissidia: Final Fantasy opening/intro (English)

Heroes
Warrior of Light FF1
Firion FF2
Onion Knight FF3
Cecil FF4
Bratz FF5
Terra FF6
Cloud FF7
Squall FF8
Zidane FF9
Tidus FF10
Shantotto FF11

Villains
Garland FF1
The Emperor FF2
Cloud of Darkness FF3
Golbez FF4
Exdeath FF5
Kefka FF6
Sephiroth FF7
Ultimecia FF8
Kuja FF9
Jecht FF10
Gabranth FF12

Final Boss
Chaos

The game plays wonderful, the music is amazing, the fighting is ungodly awesome, if your a fan of Final Fantasy this is a MUST OWN, each character plays different and has there own equipment and EX burst, each starts off on level 1 and can be raised to level 100. The game has a TON of unlockable stuff, and well over 100-200 hours of gameplay, and still not get everything done.

I have been playing for over 50 hours and only have Warrior of Light and Onion Knight to Level 100 and I still don't have their best equipment, out of 22 playable characters. This is truly a great fighting game. The only downside, the story sucks.

I heard the voice acting isn't too great either. That's what my brother said he read on a gaming website. But I'd rather see it for myself than whatever those gaming websites say  ::)

It's just awesome that Sephiroth is in it ;D

I do enjoy a good final fantasy game.
And I was wondering if it's just me or do voices in games kill it for you? For RPGs mainly. It seems I enjoy older games where I can read the text and imagine the voices for myself. Sometimes the voice acting can ruin it.

It depends on the game. Zelda The Ocarina of Time is still an epic game and no one says a word in it. Except for yelling

One thing that messes up a game/movie for me is if the lip syncing is bad

The voice acting is hit or miss when it comes to some of them, but none the less it is a GREAT game, Cloud, Sephiroth, Tidus, Jecht, Cecil and Golbez (FF4 Remake on DS) all retain there voice actors from the previous games

The only ones that I found to be annoying were Shantotto, Kafka and Zidane
Also just random, but Veggta's Voice actor (Can't remember his name) Makes a Prefect Garland

Never really played a FF game before this. My gamer (at least more-gamer-than-me friend) with a PSP let me play it. I wondered why I kept losing and then found out I had to use the control stick. (Yes, facepalm) Then I won.

Even though a lot of the male characters look like chicks (and one of the manly ones wears a bikini. Looks disturbing, amirite?) But yeah, the fighting was great and I might just get a PSP when I get my hands on the funds.

Yes most of the men in final fantasy are effeminate looking but that is because of Japanese culture. Men are considered attractive when they are young and even somewhat feminine. So they really push that in their art and games.
Since FF is an RPG series it is likely aimed at its fan following. And they are very used to final fantasies knack for having random and weird characters every now and again.

Oh not to mention the systematic gang rape of cloud in FF7 if you get the good panties in the mini game towards the beginning.... Disturbing...but funny...

The nerds know what I'm talking about...

that's if Aerith or Tifa gets chosen :p

Quote
Kotch : "All right, ladies!"
"Line up in front of the Don!"

(They line up in a row.)

Don Corneo:  "Hmmm! Good, splendid!"

(He jumps over his desk and checks out Aerith.)

Don Corneo:  "Now, let's see... Which girl should I choose? Hmm--- hmm---!"

(He checks out Cloud, who tries to face away.)

Don Corneo: "This one?"

(He checks out Tifa.)

Don Corneo:  "Or this one?"

(He checks out Cloud again.)

Don Corneo:  "Woo-hoo, I've made up my mind!!"
"My choice for tonight is....."

(Drum rollllllllll....)

Quote
[If Cloud was not picked]

(One of Don's flunkies leads Cloud into the employee lounge.)

Scotch:  "Hey guys! We've got guests."
"We'll take REAL good care of you."
"This is all thanks to the big boss, Don Corneo!"

"Heey!! Three cheers for Don Corneo!"

Scotch:  "Heh, heh.... Well ladies, are we, uh, all ready?"

(They all start chasing Cloud, who goes up to Scotch.)

Scotch:  "Hey... what's wrong? Want me to keep you company?"

Cloud:  "No... I'm flattered, but no thanks."
"Because..."

Scotch:  "Because...?"

Cloud:  "Because..."
"I ain't INTERESTED in a buncha scrubs like you!"

(He flings off his woman's clothes.)

Scotch:  "Wha.... a MAN!???"
"God damn it! You think you can get away with this! Get him!
Knock the crap out of him!!"

(Battle sequence.)

Scotch:  "Grr! C'mon, what's the matter with you good for nothings!?"
"All right now, COME ON! I'll show you how it's done!!"

(Another battle sequence. Cloud wins and leaves.)

Actually I think he was referring to when you go inside the Honey Bee place (Name escapes me) to get one of the pieces of underwear, if you choose the group room, Cloud is basically forced to bathe with at least 9 other men, and thus they rape him. It's actually quite funny, and disturbing all at the same time

Honey Bee Manor (everything in there involves cloud getting "prodded" and hallucinating about Sephiroth)
