I used to not in the beginning because I thought it'd be uncomfortable, and I'd just wear a long tank top to cover that area.  But now I don't go anywhere without tucking.  It just feels wrong to have it all just there like that.  It's not the most comfortable thing in the world but I don't even think about it when I'm out and about.  It's necessary to me.

I've done it for years.  It is habit.  It is how I am most comfortable.  I do not resent the fact that I have that junk, but the idea of any bulge there is repugnant to me.  I don't do it for others or for presentation but to be comfortable with myself.

As always, your results may vary. :-\

I "found" it around 10 also.  I used to push everything back and try to hold the scrotal skin over top to hide it.

They push back up with no pain at all.  I always try to pin between my legs but a lot of the time it retracts also.  If I wear looser clothing then sometimes when the other part retracts they are able to fall back down since the scrotum isn't pinned back anymore.  I try to stay tucked all the time.

How does everyone else with the invert/retract issue deal with it?  When retracted the other part is only a small lump, but it still isn't as flat as tucked between and if they fall down its totally obvious.  Its not that I'm worried about discovery since we've agreed that no one seems me properly dressed, but its mentally uncomfortable.

I've been tucking since I was a kid.  BTW, did any of you girls have "that thing" get a bend to it?

I always tucked one way, and it seems that "its" bent in that direction!

I just fell into it by complete accident and it was so natural.  I have done it for years now, in and out of dressing.

It just feels right. It's not even really necessary anymore and I still do, just for the security I guess. Even though an unexpected erecton is next to impossible through the hrt shield, can you imagine being out in your nicest skirt and getting one, Omigawd. Just don't trust that thing, never will.

Whew!  Yeah - good point, Becca.  I hadn't even thought of that!  I knew there was a reason I asked that question!:)

My minority status has just changed (prev post).

I've not even tried to tuck in a few months due to lack of success.... went to an art opening last Friday evening.  I wore a close fitting dress and so had to do something... tried it again and voila'  worked just fine.  I guess the HRT has shrunk my testicles enough that they now will stay up ( before they just pushed down no matter what).  Well... that was very cool !!  I used tape and all, over the weekend I tried it again and now it seems it will work with just panties sometimes ( depends on how long and movement).

WOW, totally cool !!

Can't say its hard (Excuse the pun); especially having been on HRT for some years now.  Probably helps that I was never particularly big in the first place.  Also pays to pick the right underwear!! Boyshorts I find are generally the best for this :)

My thoughts exactly, it is a great way to be a little more comfortable with myself to compensate for the disgust of having it. i haven't done it very long, but it is becoming more and more comfortable. Just seeing the difference in that area makes it worth while, its also decently comfortable for some reason.
And to answer how i learned.. well the concept of it was obvious to me for years, but i waited till i knew someone who could give me advice so i didn't accidentally do something ide regret later from inexperience.

I was never really well endowed to begin with, so that's probably why I consider it easy.

That's my worry too. I've never tucked (never had to) because I'm so small to begin with. Upsides when I have it but when i have surgery I know it'll be graft time for sure.

Like some here, I found out by accident around the age of ten and been doing it for years with no problems and when I wear tight pants they seem to go up by themselves, lol. Also the long thing can be pushed in side and kept there with pants, I may be perculier in that respect and I have not had the nerve to ask anyone in my support group if they can do the same. Would be interested if any one else is able to tuck in that way. So estentially everything is inside with my nickers on and I can even wear bikini bottoms and of course top when not sunbathing topless, lol.

Pre-op I was really paranoid about tucking. I wore panties that were a size too small, since they held things down a bit better. On top of that, I wore Spanx all the time to hide any hint of a bulge. Before I found Spanx, I wore Hanes Body Beautiful capri shapers. Before the shapers, I wore pantyhose one size too small and cut off the legs.

But no matter what I wore, I still felt like my pelvis didn't look quite right. I couldn't smooth everything away. I walked around slightly hunched because I was afraid of people noticing something.

Post-op, for a short time I found myself reaching to tuck as I stood up from the toilet. A split second later, I'd realize there was nothing to tuck and feel extremely relieved by this fact.

Now my pelvis looks right in jeans, and I stand up straight, but I have all these redundant pairs of Spanx.

I was never small of stature, so tucking didn't really work. I tried a few times. I spent like $60 on gaffs. I duct taped (AURGHHHH.) I wore 2-3 pairs of panties. I wore undersized panties. I gave up.

An acquaintance is returning from overseas and made clear that he likes to see girls in g-strings. I kind of laughed to myself knowing that the two or so pairs of XS ones that I bought from Forever21, hoping that they would aid in the tuck, failed miserably and more made the appearance of a pair of coconuts hanging from a banana.

I went to the corner of my closet where "Girl things that do not fit because your body isn't girly enough" go and pulled them out, and... I wore one today. I did not think I could ever wear a pair of underwear that small. Where the hell does everything go to?

Before pulling pants on and moving about for a while, the appearance looked *really* comforting. Almost realistic. Eventually on side sort of slipped out, but they've only shrunk a little since I started HRT. What an exciting thing to look forward to.

Hey, Naturally - I'd like to hear your reasoning for this.  Tucking for me is kind of pain in the, well - nuts, and I keep thinking: what's the big deal?  If I go out somewhere, how many men or women would actually admit to looking at my crotch anyway?  Of course, this would be assuming that everything else in my image was passable.  It seems like tight jeans kind of keep everything in place and allow for only a small bulge(which, for whatever bizarre reason, I think is kind of cute), but with dresses it's a bit too obvious not to do something about it.  I'm just starting to fully explore dressing and stealthing(if that is a word!), so this post might scream to the world my ignorance, but I'd like to hear the opinions of some of the girls here.  Why tuck if you're in a safe environment(like a LGBT bar, or a house party where you're with friends and they know your history), or if you're "in the wild" but have strength in numbers?

I don't tuck and would fund it pretty painful hon. I have a different method which I use for tight jeans etc (PM me for details). I always prefer to wear tight jeans and I've been stealth for many years.

my testicles have alwayswent back in so tucking was easy for me and worked really well. After 7 months of HRT things have gotten a lot smaller so tucking is almost not an issue

I saw the stephiegaff article on the wiki and I made one, it is a great deal more comfortable than all the tape and tight panties I used before. Now I only need a small piece of tape and that invention and everything stays put.

At the risk of sounding full of fail ive never really managed to tuck successfully, the gruesome 2-some just dont seem to have holes to go back into. I must be missing something lol

Sometimes those openings either close up a bit or don't enlarge as the testicles themselves grow.  Don't feel alone: Many male-bodied people can't push those things back up inside.

It took me quite  while to find them, keep searching.
Relaxing is the only way, and forcing will only cause problems.
