This is sung by the Heartland Men's Chorus.  It starts out, "You've got to be taught to hate and fear."  It's really worth seeing.

Hey, Julie.

I watched the beautiful video that you shared with us. It's main premise, is that hate and fear is something that is taught to children by people old enough to know better. This was an incredibly moving piece, and the singing is very heartfelt. The video does draw an analogy from the racial oppression that blacks had to overcome to what we're struggling with as LGBT people.

You and I have spoken about the idea of starting a non-profit that is dedicated towards eliminating the hatred that kids are taught "In One Generation". Maybe we can't change the world, but I'll take one mind at a time. If we can help one or a few kids from getting bullied or shunned because they look or act different, then we would have accomplished a great goal.

What does everyone else think of this video?
"I don't need your acceptance, just your love"

Every time I watch it, it brings tears to my eyes.  It's such a beautiful message.  I wish everyone could see it for what it is, a call to end hatred and intolerance.
