Thoughts on "natural" HRT

Hi!  :)

I've been developing a bit of ... I guess you could call it a theory ... over the past year or so.  I'm more than a little curious if anyone here knows ANYTHING about this because I haven't been able to find any info about it whatsoever.

For a little background info, I managed to afford about 3 months of E and AA while I was in college, but had to stop after due to a lack of funding.  (This is to say I did have a little bit of development prior that all but went away)  Now, fast forward to shortly after I got my job.  I was taking a long road trip during a holiday, and being a little depressed that day, I kept myself "tucked"* because it gives me a little peace of mind.  Interestingly, I noticed my chest began to feel a little different about 2 hours in... sort of like when I was on E.  I thought it was curious, so I kept myself tucked the entire trip anytime I could while sitting.  During that 4-day weekend, there was some definite re-development - which went away in about the same amount of time if I remained un-tucked.  Over the past year, I tried this again for a few short periods to test it out: up to 3 weeks at a time.  Each time, I noticed a definite (if slight) change in mood, fat distribution, etc.

*note: by tucking I mean, keeping the 2 little guys in their little holes

Now this is where my theory comes in.  I finally decided for sure that transition is the direction I want to take about 4 months ago now.  I have kept myself tucked for as close to 24/7 as I possibly can during these 4 months, and I am 99% sure that I have developed past where I was in college and am also 99% sure I am still developing.  I think that perhaps when the testicles are inside their little "caves" for an extended period, T production lowers enough to the point where either it is converted into estrogen or it cannot stop the natural estrogen that all people have.  Whether this will actually have the same effect as medicated HRT is what I want to figure out!

I could very easily afford to do HRT the normal way now, but the scientist in me is intrigued enough by this that I want to keep going and see where it ends up!  I've started a photo journal for myself for reference, which I will probably post if it turns out this actually works.

So I guess in closing, if any of you know about this I'd love to hear about it :)  Especially if this is a health risk and I shouldn't be doing it!  And by the way, I love the site.  I stumbled upon it 2 weeks ago (wish I had sooner ;)) and finally got up the courage to register.  Sorry for all the scientific-ness, I'm a SW engineer and can't really help it.

EXCESS T turns into E, not lack of T.

hi
two thing are the reason i think
first on is that you are killing your testicules, by putting them into your abdomen, which may cause atrophy after a long time, and affecting the T production, it is some thing like taking anti androgen only .
the second is psychic effect

I'd have to agree with it being psychosomatic.

Thanks for the feedback :)  After reading up a bit on psychosomatic medicine, which I didn't even know existed, I think you are probably right.  At the very least, it's having anti-androgenic effects because I'm definitely getting re-development of features -the main ones I went off of were the curvature of the lower back and size of my bum, which changed dramatically each time.

I will keep it up for another month or two, just in case (and because work is really busy and I don't think I can fit in therapy for another couple months :icon_dizzy:), then pursue the normal path of things.
