Before I say anything else, we have to understand what the media regard as "Transgender" which is simple enough to explain, they see "Transgender" as meaning "Man in a dress".

If there is one thing I have noticed it is how the media seem to keep trying to describe Caster Semenya in "Media friendly" terms. They seem to do this by sexing her by contradictory criteria.

(As pig headed people do) so they will say "She/he has no ovaries or uterus so she is a he!" or "She/he has XY chromosomes so she is a he!" (Pronoun mixing being common sadly). They also do the counter sexing by more subtle means, such as describing various masculine qualities or airbrushing stubble onto some of the photographs.
