Sad about Being Human ending. I think they ended it fairly well but the last few episodes running up to it seemed a little unsatisfying.

It's very good for children. Combining science and fun is the way to go for getting good education(In my opinion).

I agree. People learn most effectively when they're relaxed and engaged.

I wish everyone saw it that way, but alas, they don't.

ah disney, always re-editing their shows to remove jokes that have fallen out of favor. that's why i bought as many Walt Disney Treasures sets as i could for the classic cartoons uncut, with explaining, apologetic intros by Leonard Maltin where needed, but hey, as long as the cartoons are intact.

Well, in the case of the TaleSpin pilot, it was a case of stuff "being removed for time" (which is just another way of saying: "We decided to butcher your program so we could cram in more commercials"). I have heard of certain things being removed once it was put in wider syndication once the program went off the air and was showing in reruns on certain cable channels.

in the case of my favorite b-movie, when they showed it on tv, it went beyond the usual censoring and into OCD territory. Almost every scene had something chopped out and the ending was a complete mess. When i saw the uncut version it was much better, although the ending still came a bit out of left field, but hey, it's a movie about a guy in an all-black monks habit murdering people with an iron hand.

As a football (soccer) tragic I am just about to watch the Liverpool v Chelsea EPL match.  To paraphrase the immortal Bill Shankly this game, at least for the next few hours, "is not just a matter of life or death, it is more important than that."
