Another girl was attracted to me?

Yesterday, I had gone into work.  On the way back home, I rode the train.  When I got on, this one attractive girl (probably my age) went out of her way to clear a seat next to her for me.  Then she kept smiling, much more than usual.  A bit later she was talking to this other woman to help her figure out where she was going and kept asking for my input.  She got off a little bit later.  It was probaby about 10 minutes later that it dawned on me that she was being way friendlier to me than other women typically are and I wonder if maybe she felt a certain attraction to me.  I've noticed a few women that give me a big smile like they approve of me or something, but they don't act like they read me.  I never put much thought into it, but this woman was being like that but to a much higher degree.  I'm not trying to be arrogant or anything, but I think some of my "male features" may work to my advantage with attracting women.  The trouble is that I'm not quite sure what signs a woman would give if they did find another woman attractive.

they try to touch me but in a really shy manner

Thanks Nero.  She did seem quite feminine.  It's just something I hadn't really thought about before, that women might actually find another woman attractive or even that another woman would find me attractive, but my intuition tells me that was the case.

Right.  That's the men's method.  I've had guys do that to me too, but it still surprises me each time.  I guess I've thought about guys being attracted to me, but not other women, but from what I've heard, the majority of women (over half) are bisexual to one degree or another, so statistically speaking, it's quite possible for a woman every once in a while to show interest in me.

I've had occasions where women who very much "set off my 'dar" have, when either I or she turns to go, given me a particular look. Kinda like this:  but waaaaaaaay more subtle.

Dunno if I'm interpreting the signals right but it really feels good to think that.

Hmmmm...repeated touching woman to woman is not as sure a sign of sexual attraction as it is woman to man. It definitely is a sign of affection but not necessarily sexual.

My experience is fairly limited as I have only been intimate with a handful of women as a woman. WtoW relationships are so complex that they are difficult for GGs much less the newly transitioned, not to mention those in beginning or mid-transition. In fact, as a bisexual woman, I halfway gave up on dating women and went back to dating men. Guys are just so much easier to get and to figure out.

BTW they are much more rare but there are ->-bleeped-<- chasing girls too. And BTW it is very rare that  a lesbian, at least in areas where there are lots of transwomen,  will not clock a trans fairly quickly.

I think I get that look on a nearly daily basis (I am out and about every day as an outside sales rep) It's a look of approval that in my pretending-to-be-a-guy days would be a definite come hither but now I interpret to be getting clocked in a positive way. In other words, they recognize you as trans but they accept you as such and like the way you look.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking too.  It almost seemed like they were approving you.  I guess I can read other women pretty well.

The good thing is that women can be pals more readily than men. (Two men wouldn't meet on a train and say, hey wanna get together for a beer, unless they are gay) So if you meet a women in public and you strike up a conversation, the natural next step would be to meet for coffee, with no expectations, other than to maybe become pals. It's a win-win situation whether or not you eventually become pals or lovers.

Um, I wasn't trying to make anyone jealous.  It's just how I have been living my life.  We are all given a certain set of tools in life (both physical and mental attributes) and we just need to use them to the best of our abilities.  Don't be jealous of me because of my tools, I know people with far better sets of tools than me.  However, it's what you do with your given tools that can determine our own successes.  For instance a late transitioner may have accumulated more money in life and can afford surgeries far better than I could and if they used that to get FFS, then they would be using their own tools wisely.

Anyway, I already have another love interest at this time.

   I'm really happy for you. Since women are showing this kind of interest in you without you really seeking it, it means that you've got something going on for yourself. It makes me happy feeling that others are being happy.
