Today, as we were leaving work, my boss made a comment.  He said my hormones must be kinckng in, as I was starting to annoy him in ways that his wife and female members of his family annoy him.

He went on to say that maybe it's chauvinistic, or cultural, or racial (he was born in India, and the adult males in the family worked in America for seven years to bring the extended family over when he was 10 years old.)  Whatever it is, since I came out to him, he's finally figured out what it is about me that 'doesn't compute.'

From my perspetive, he keeps telling me that stuff 'doesn't matter', even when I SENSE that somethin' ain't right and I'm a little anxious about it. Just like a man/just like a woman, eh? ;)

Yup, I know that feeling all to well! :D

I've been told (in jest, by someone I know well) that it's obvious which gender I belong to. This was in response to my criticising something that was makeshift and dilapidated. But hey, to me it feels validating, like I'm on the right track.
