I'm still "processing" some of the things I was told at the gyno's office yesterday.

One of the things the gyno mentioned is that when I do get my T I'll also be injected with an implant that would "dry up" estrogen production.

Now, I've been mulling it over for over a day and I can't think of ever hearing anything of the sort before.
So the question is:

Ever heard of this at all?
What would this be?

And whatever else you can think of mentioning.. cause I've really gotten to a "O.O???!?!?????" point in my thinking

Never heard of that. Don't think it's necessary as the T is strong enough to override the estrogen.
Nero was the Forum Admin here at Susan's Place for several years up to the time of his death.

I "don't" think it's necessary either, but they have a "standard operating procedure" around here and it is implied that this is a part of it.. and thus... I go o.O?

Sometimes estrogen blockers are used, but I don't know the requirements for it or why it's included with T.

Me neither and what Nero said is true. You stop taking T you get your period back.. simple as..
Even bio males produce estrogen...

that's really odd...

I specifically remember him using the word "implant"...

This is gonna bother me. I'll have to ask the doctors about it.. o.O

Implant kind of sounds like a form of birth control to me.

Which would be why I took a massive double-take as soon as I was able to calm down and mull over what I've been told.

No... NO... that's not cool!

I hope not
I REALLY hope not!

Just getting "okay" with the idea self injecting testosterone with a regular needle has taken a lot of "work".
That is Way Too Much.
No.

Argh..
I'm gonna go watch something nicer now... a horror movie where someone pulls people's fingernails off or something like that.

Dang man stickin' a #22 needle into your leg or butt is nothing. I'll stick to stickin' my self and let it stick to me, thanks!
