OK, so at my next appointment I'll be asking for a referral for top surgery because I'm a year into my RLE now.
What I'd like to know is any top surgery experiences from those in the UK (preferably NHS but not necessarily). Info such as:
- Who did the surgery?
- The procedure you had (peri / double incision etc)
- Some indication of size before if possible.
- Healing - any bad scarring, dog ears, revisions needed?
- How did you find the experience with them?
- How are the results? (Pictures from those who are not too shy would be very much appreciated)
- How was your consultation with them?
- Any surgeons you have heard good/bad things about?
Any info would be amazing... I've been told I can choose my surgeon (within reason) and I've done research but it's hard to find first hand experience. Right now Dai Davies looks like the top choice but I have heard a good experience with Guy Sterne.
