I'm asking this because I thought it would bring up a cool conversation for fellow androgynes.

I don't really know that I have a *favorite* androgynous person, however, a few famous androgynous folks that come to mind are:

• Multimedia artist Genesis P. Orridge, who many consider the mother / father of industrial music.

• Comedian Eddie Izzard, one of the funniest people alive, IMHO.

• Musician Antony Hegarty, lead singer of Antony and the Johnsons.

Rike, I am speechless with your reply.  ALL honesty - you have given me something to think about, even if this post was intended for someone else... well, what you said was just amazing.  i might print that out and put it on my door (I live in an apt but i stay with my mother a lot .. she always helps me when i need it.  You give awesome advice.

Love the pictures.  Especially the one Michael Jackson picture.  I went to LA once to visit a friend and I got to meet his impersonator.  He looked and talked like MJ!  I paid him $2 for two pictures but they didn't turn out... but at least I got to meet his almost-identical impersonator.

Am I allowed to post pictures yet?
