what are some good moisturizers to use after shaving. My legs tend to feel a little dry, and by the end of the day quite itchy.
How can I prevent getting little red spots I get at the top of my leg? Is it because my razor got a little dull? maybe a better shaving cream? I'm new to shaving my legs :)

Hey :)

I get those blasted red spots your talking about too, it's annoying ><

I found it's better to shave while your actually showering, and I used one of two things usually, either Gillette Fusion ultra-sensitive shaving cream, or cream conditioner (Tresemme, or Garnier have been the last ones I used since I was using them for my hair too )

As far as lotion goes.....Gold Bond Ultimate is probably the best stuff I have EVER used. It's like $8 a bottle, but dang it puts back moisture like no tomorrow. Another good one was St. Ives Oatmeal & Shea Butter, I found that stuff works fairly well without paying too much ($4).

Hope this helps ;)

Haha, I've been using "Gilette Fusion Ultra-Comfort" or something like that, sounds like the same thing. Thanks for the advice :)

I shave my legs in the shower, and use Skintimate shave creme for dry skin. I follow it up with "In the Shower Moisturizer" by O'Lay Just put it on in the shower and rise off pat dry it works great !

I use any cheap lotion when shaving my legs.  Razor glides better and less irritation.  Afterward, Skin So Soft by Avon.  Makes my legs feel sliky smooth for days.

I do not use any moisturizer or cream in my legs, but I use Nivea Baby Intensive Lotion for my hands. I guss it is also good for legs.

Barbie~~
Just do it.

My mother always uses baby oil on her legs after shaving.  I don't know how it works b/c I don't shave mine. It's worth a try.

I've finally found what works great for me :)

1) Aveeno Moisturizer
2) Shaving cream for sensitive skin
3) Don't shave too often (once every 2-3 days)
4) Use little to no pressure when shaving to prevent razor burn
5) Switch razors every 3 shaves.

My legs feel a 1000 times better now. They even feel nice and relatively smooth the next day =) I couldn't imagine having hairy legs again.

DCL AHA Revitalizing Lotion 15.  It is expensive to use on legs so I water it down to spread it out.  It has dimethicone in it which makes it greasy.  This brand used to be Donnell, and that version didn't have the dimethicone.  And it doesn't have any glycerin.
