Right on Mattie

I don't live in Mormonville, but I do live in Mormonland, which isn't too far away from Mormonville.

Ive been on HRT for five years and had my name change four years ago. I'm just getting around to get my gender marker changed on my licence because 1) I never can find it, 2) it just came up for renewal, 3) I finnally remembered to get the letter from the DR (been through a lot in the past 3 years so it was'nt at the top of my list. ;)

Well, I don't live in Mormonville, either, but my state DMV won't change my gender marker without a letter from my surgeon.

(I know, I know.  Just when you're feeling sorry for yourself, someone comes along with a worse story.  I hate that. >:()

Congratulations on your name-change, Mattie.  When I got mine, it took a few days before my feet touched the ground again.  Wow!  For the state, in its infinite wisdom (:P) to say that you are Mattie is wonderful! ;D

Oh my gosh, Mattie, I've met you! (I live here in Mormonville as well.)

I don't know why, but I never expected to see someone on here that I'd met! lol

Gratz on your official name change, and meeting the amenable judge, despite the beaurocracy. Keep us posted on the rest of the story, especially since I'll probably be going through the same process in the same area, in a year or so. =P

My girlfriend and I came to a group meeting at the Pride center back near the beginning of the year. I didn't really feel like I fit in, probably because I was just figuring things out, and I have been too shy to go back. I remember really admiring how well you carry yourself though. =)
