I took the day off and played... all day long.  I composed a few poems and read the forums.  What a wonderful way to end a vacation.

I got to snuggle on the couch with this gorgeous woman for a little while friday night.

I've also been re-editing my parent's (dad & step-mom) 18 year-old wedding video. It's bittersweet seeing grandparents, who have passed on since, dancing and smiling.

I got a day almost totally off. I still had to look after my mother, but she's much better. I didn't have to go into work because I've pretty well set up the new office. I went to pick up eggs for my mother at my old babysitter's place and it's the first time they've seen me as Dennis. She and her husband congratulated me on the change and made us Thanksgiving dinner to take home in addition to the eggs.

So I didn't have to cook dinner for mum and I had an awesome Thanksgiving dinner And, people who've known me since I was 9 years old took it in stride and congratulated me.

Well besides having a blast during Susan's fest, I went swimming today.  Swimming is something that has caused me to feel particulary gender dysphoric all my life and it isn't until recently that I was able to put a label on that feeling.  Anyway, I went swimming tonight and not only did I not feel a bit dysphoric this time, but actually euphoric.  It just felt so great to know that I am now finally living as a woman.

I have not been run over by a bus.   

Today I am running a friend to the airport so that she can go and not only visit family but try out for a slot on one of those "reality" talent shows (no idea on the title although I guess I will learn if they make it through the process).  Then later tonight I get to hang out with two wonderful people who mean a lot to me.

It was my dad's 50th birthday on Saturday. Or actually it's today, but it was celebrated then. I had a chance to put on a suit and I looked good! Almost everybody there told me so. That even made my dad very happy, because the suit I had was his old wedding suit and he loves to see it in use.

I have a granddaugter who is 2¹/₂ years old and has a monster box of megablocks. 
I spent an hour building towers so she could knock them down and laugh and giggle
as she did so.  It was great fun.

I got off work to today and my 11 year old daughter and I went fishing. We didn't catch anything (except bait) but we had fun together. SHE is the important thing to me.

Today I had a mid day doctor's appointment.  The news was good so I decided to sluff off the rest of the workd day!

I love being lazy for TWO days in a row.

I soaked in a tub of hot water with (homemade) bath salts in it, after spending the morning (after thoroughly sleeping in) in my toasty flannel granny gown reading and posting to Susan's.

Hey,  I spent a couple of hours on the phone with a friend last night. We talked till 12:30 in the morning!  It was delightful.

Today I got asked out on a date!

Also I have been giving training all day, the girl who I have just hired to do my training, told my I was a good trainer and that I had fantastic breasts!... not sure what compliment I like the most.

Let's see.  Today I got out of work early because of my doctor's appointment, I was able to get a small loan so I should be ok financially, at the DMV, they kept emphasizing "ma'am" over and over, my new picture turned out great, and I got a new toy that goes ZZZZZZ >.

Today at 7am, I pulled into a gas station..... It was 27 C.

I put my hair in a pony band, took my visor out from the glove compartment, put the top down on my car and drove the remaining 75 Kms to work....

Yep Winter is here, In the Summer it is to hot to have the roof down.

I got to work an a painting of my own for the first time in weeks.  ! renegotiated a badly-timed deadline, and instead of being upset the client gushed about how great the work I'd done for them looked.  And I rolled around on the floor with my dog.

I'm about to make a DVD of some video projects I did for school to send to my family.  My little brothers are going to love it (there's cowboys with water gun).

On Monday a dear friend of mine had open heart surgery (5 by passes) and he made it through the surgery. I have gone to visit him in the hospital and he makes me feel so wanted. I saw him right after he woke up and I started to cry (again) and he looked at me and said it was all right babe. I am feel just fine hon. Then he went back to sleep. He is doing so good. That made my day and week. He is such a good friend. I have been back to see him about 10 times now. He gave me a kiss on the lips when I bent over to kiss him on the cheek. He is so sweet.
