Hello! :)
I'm new here.  I'm 23 yrs old and I've been on hormones for 7 months almost. havent noticed any dramatic changes. :( I was just wondering if you could give me any advice on FFS surgery.. I know I definitely need  surgery but not sure exactly what...... probably a jaw & cheek reduction, lip lift, rhinoplasty, etc.. I'm a student but I have a parttime job and I'm saving everything I can for surgery.......

i agree with krissy hun save money for something else you dont need ffs or if you still think you do id wait for a couple years to see the full effects of estrogen on your body but right now it be a waste of money imo.

Gotta side with the other two posters. Granted all we have to go by is one picture, but I'd never look at that picture and see anyone but a female.

But then, I'm clueless about stuff like FFS, I don't even really understand what makes male and female faces different, I just look and my brain just instinctively says one or the other, and in your case it clearly says female.

Hard to say overall without seeing your face + eyes, they can add a lot or subtract a lot....

I know you said ffs... but are you f2m or m2f? I'm having a hard time working it out and dont want to offend you with the wrong answer. *Its that hard to tell*

wow thank you guys for the nice comments :)

Its just when i'm dressed as a girl, people stare at me i get paranoid,i think "oh, they know i'm a guy" my nose & jaw are probably the most masculine features about me, im lucky that i have feminine features too. i also havent grown my hair out yet, i want to do that soon.. i live as a guy in real life for the most part.

Hormones haven't really done much for me in the face. Its only been 7 months i know but i'm not expecting any miracles

The none blonde - M2F. I think thats the best compliment i've ever received. awesome lol

I was just wondering, do you have any photographs of yourself before you'd taken any hormones you could compare yourself with? Or have a friend compare with? I was just thinking perhaps the changes are so gradual you don't perceive there as being any.

What I can see of your face in the picture I would never for a moment think "she wasn't born a girl".

Before getting FFS, if I were you, I would try very hard to work out if what you're seeing is what other's see, or if you're seeing things differently because it's you.

I have NEVER seen a TS in real life, that I know of. But with how many random people I've seen around in my life, I find it hard to believe I've never come a cross one, I'd guess I've seen them and not known. My point is that women and men come in such a huge spectrum of appearance, that I don't think most people question if someone's male or female very hard. I certainly never have.

You don't actually need anything, if you have only been on hormones for 7 months, give it time.  If you had more fat on your face, it could fill in and minimize some of the areas you're looking at, or it might not.

I guess if you really wanted to pick something out and tried really hard... you might narrow your jaw and have your nose done.  I don't know what you see wrong with your lips, maybe a very minor upper lip lift?  That would definitely be a stretch though.
The eyes are a huge indicator, so without those it's hard to tell, and hard to judge the rest of your face because usually people judge the proportion of your other features with the eyes...which is why concealing eyes is so effective at obscuring someone's identity, they really define the face.

But no matter what anyone tells you, it's about what you want, not about what someone else sees or tells you they see.  Several people I have told that I am considering FFS has said something along the lines of "why, you have such a nice face!"  I don't agree and think they're lying or exaggerating way too much to make me feel good.  But anyway, when I look at myself in the mirror I can't help but see the masculine features jump out at me, and it hurts to see those as much as it hurts to see other parts of my anatomy that I disagree with.  So in other words, I don't think you need anything, but that's my opinion and I entirely understand why you would still feel compelled to change certain things.  Good luck! :)

As without the eyes I cant really say a thing about the upper part. But jaw yes, needs some work and chin too.

Lips looks quite nice.

Also, let HRT do its work a bit more and then you can decide. Go for FFS if it will give you more confidence.

Jaw and chin need work?

Damn are you some sort of surgical perfectionist? I can't see any sign of masculinity in her face.... stop looking at individual bits, look at the whole like normal people... and see a girl. It's really impossible not to.
