Just a Testosterone-Related Curiosity...
November 13, 2009, 11:32:27 PM
For those who have been on and off T, or for those who just happen to know, I am wondering how long it would take if one were to suddenly stop injecting for the bleeding to start up again. I have no plans to stop, I just have this irrational fear that if I don't inject asap on the day I am supposed to it'll start up again (probably had to something to do with continuing to have periods up until 8 months of injecting)... But I wonder how long it would take in reality. Anybody know?

Both times I had to go off T, it took about 2 1/2- 3 months. However, I had to go off for a week a few weeks ago while awaiting my refill, and started to get weird cramps. I can't imagine it was trying to start up so soon, though.

I would think that it varies as does so much when it comes to the effects of hormones. my plan is to not have that worry, hysto soon. If it bothers you badly, maybe you can do the same.
