Yes, I know, it's not even halloween yet..
But I just... I love the winter solstice.. I love yule,.. it's my favorite one!

So here's the thing.
I'm looking for songs and/or altered lyrics to songs for this yule.
I would love something I could play guitar to and some inspiration to translate to Icelandic..

All I've found so far is this 🔗 [Link: sanfords.net/Pagan_Humor_and_Thoughts/Pagan_Yule_songs.htm/], which is quite good, but more is Always better.
So...
Got any links/tips/lyrics to share?

Min, are you looking for something Heathen-specific or Pagan in general?

I don't know of many myself, but I do know some folks in a local Asatru Kindred. They might have suggestions.

I can't seem to find my big Text file of good ones - if I find it I'll post them.

Well, my Asatruer didn't know of any offhand, but she was going to forward my request along to a local Asatru message board.

Min, here's my friend's reply.

QuoteSuccess!  Someone on my Vanic mailing list suggested  http://www.odins-gift.com/mp3/heathensongbook.htm 🔗  which is a good start.  And, apparently, Dianna Paxon has a whole hymnal of Pagan/Heathen songs, including some for Yule.

I once heard Dianna Paxon speak at a Christian-Wicca-Asatru interfaith discussion panel at the seminary where my wife was studying. Ms. Paxon is part of The Troth 🔗 [Link: thetroth.org]. Under there "Resources" link, they have "Lore Resources." I don't know if they will help at all, but I thought I'd pass that along, too.
