If you don't know what It Made My Day is, it's a website where people can share blurbs of awesome things that happen to them. So I thought maybe I'd make a transgender version - share things related to transition/passing/trans stuff in general.

Here's mine:

I got checked out today - by a VERY gay man. IMMD

(Now let's see how fast this thread dies. Lol)

For the regular one it's generally today, but if you want to say something that's older, fine. :)

Alright, then some weeks ago I was in my drawing class and at some point the guy next to me looked at my chest and went "holy crap I though she was a guy!"

This was after some weeks of this class, so apparently I passed for a bit.

I just got a reply on an "initial" job application, asking for more information, in which I was addressed as Hans. IMMD.

I sat in a recliner reading forum posts all day while yawning... and avoiding mosh pits. ;D

It always makes my day when I Google "female to male" or something of that sort, and I come up with a site about extension cords.  ::)

I was walking back to work after my electrolysis session, waiting at the lights and I herd this persistant beep. I turn around and driving past in a truck are a couple road workers hanging out their windows giving me a "Hey baby" kind of look.  ;D

But maybe it was the free facial the electrologist gave me after our session....I've been floating ever since...

Cool topic BTW!

Why would someone devote an entire site to extension cords?..

Anyway, a few weeks back, I had gone to a McDonalds. The cashier had taken my order and was moving to get it when her supervisor asked her for something.

"Just a sec," she replied, "I'm getting her order."

I wasn't trying to look feminine. I was dressed in boy's clothes. I hadn't even shaved that day, and apparently none of these things mattered.
That kind of thing happens every so often, and it always makes my day. :)

I ordered a packer and it shipped on the day I ordered it.. and

I got the courage to call a therapist, and while she called me "miss" and couldnt take me in, she did give me two references of gender therapists.. and

my Dad seems to slightly being a bit more accepting, enough for him to give me advice on calling the therapist and what to say to her.

:D

"Alright gentlemen, so what's your last name?"

"[insert last name here]"

"Oh. . ." The lady proceeds to search the list for a minute or two. (I'm the only person with my last name) "You can't possibly be Julie right?"

"Yep that's me."

"Oh, you are Julie. Okay."

I think it was just an article or something. But it's amusing to use terms you associate with trans stuff and come up with something completely different. I made a thread about this a little while ago - acronyms and  words used in everyday conversation that you associate with something LGBT.(QQIA...whatever the rest of that scronym is) Like "binder". When my teacher told me to bring in a binder next class yesterday, I thought "But I already do!" Haha.

Back when I was repressing i had a moment like that.

There is/was a radio preacher i REALLY like (he's not like any of the rest of them) and he mentioned at the end of one broadcast that he had a show on the Worship network (a tv network) which I'd never heard of.

So I went by the local library and googled "worship tv network"

Suffice it to say the tv I got wasn't television....

My mum's in Germany with my sister and they talked.
Sister shared concern that she was loosing her sister, and my own mother explained to her that she wasn't loosing anyone and that I'd always be who I've always been.
