!

Tired being over weight :O
Was almost 88kg for years, dropped to 65-67, been stuck there for a year or so, dropped to 61, 60, gained back to 62 recently.

That's it! I am tired!
I am going to lose weight to about 54 kg! and my goal is 3 months, hopefully not more than 4.
Doubt it but maybe a bit less than 3! :P

Wish me luck! :D

No need thank you!

Just going to cut the amount of calories a bit and hopefully do walks.

3-4 months is reasonable for 8 and even 10 kg.
0.1 kg a day would mean just a bit over 3 months. a bit slower would mean 4 months.

Not that low, I am 164cm (5'4.5!) with quite a really small frame for a girl so I am quite a bit overweight now. My doctor said optimal weight for me should be about 54.

I think  4 months is a realistic time frame to loose that much weight. You'll probably have a good drop at the start and then it will slow down some. But if you can do a kilo a week your doing really well, slow but steady is the way to go I think, and you are more likely to keep it off.

My advise is this - don't skip meals, reduce fats, eat more veg and whole grains, watch your portions, For proteins try to get in some fish and lean chicken for at least some of your meals (assuming your a carnivore) get some healthy snacks, moderate exersise.
Don't sweat it if you fall off the wagon. Also this is a hard time of year to lose weight cause of xmas, too many temptation - aim at least to not gain any over xmas, and get stuck in for the new year. Start putting in the exersise now and enjoy your xmas.

Good Luck!

Keep us posted on your progress!

Thanks!

I am already doing most of that :D barely eating meat though if at all.

No xmas here! but we have the donughts holiday (Hanuka) coming up!

I pretty much on really healthy diet as it is, just lately I been eating a bit more than usual so I gained back from 60 to 62.
My metabolism is slow and work out.. 0. so it doesn't help me much.

I don't skip meals, I set it to have about 4 meals a day, breakfest at 8-9, lunch at 12-13:30, something small at 16:00 and then dinner around 18:30-19:30.

I am already eating low calorie healthy bread, though I barely eat bread anymore

I am pretty much eating morning cereals, sweet potatos, sometimes a bit of cottege cheese. eggs. some misc thing I might have (corn shnitzel or soap or rice) and hopefully at times fish.
Obvious things is a bit of vegetables, sometimes with eggs, sometimes just salad.
And sometimes an apple or kiwi or orange :) (the current fruits we have here)

I find it funny how you guys call Kiwi just Kiwi.

Here in the land of Kiwi's we call them Kiwi-Fruit, they are in season here at the moment. They originate in China I think. Another name they are known by, though not often used, is Chinese Gooseberries.

I like the Yellow Zespre ones. They taste a bit milder.

They keep you...regular  ;)
