Major Announcement Coming

Governor Patterson is expected to make a major policy announcement tomorrow, 12/15, that directly affects the transgender community here in New York State.

From what I have heard, this is one we want to listen to.

this URL says the announcement is actually on Wednesday. I have to assume it's good news since the word was put out to meet up at the NY LGBT center where the announcement is being made.

I have heard 2nd hand what the announcement is.  This is one that should have us dancing in the streets - assuming what I have been told is correct.  When I read what my friend sent, the tears just started rolling down my face.  Happy tears.
