More of a ramble thread...

Recently as my voice has slowly been dropping to "passable" and I've been seeing the first blissful facial changes on T I've been getting "ma'am"ed less and less. I made it a promise to myself that the first day I went out all day and finally saw more "sir"s than "ma'am"s, I'd switch to using the men's room. And in the past couple weeks, slowly the tide is starting to change from mumbled masculine/neutral "dude" and "man" (ie thanks, man) to loudly getting sirs and hes, even after conversations.

So today I switched. And as I walked to wash my hands I couldn't resist looking in the mirror and smiling at the guy I am looking back at me...and it kinda just clicked. Any shadow of doubt disappeared, and now it doesn't even seem like the pictures I have of me before are even me. It's freeing.

Maybe I'm an odd one...but did any of you other guys just catch yourself in a mirror or get feedback from someone that didn't just make you happy, but just gave you a stand-still moment of, "yes, this is SO where I want to be"?

I haven't noticed any facial changes on me yet, but since it's usually gradual that might be why. I'm still in the "Limbo" phase. Yesterday while Christmas shopping :eusa_sick: I got "sirs", "ma'ams" but more than anything gender neutral (no male or female terms used). I seem to get the gender neutral treatment the most now. Well, I guess that's better than before T. I still wish I got more "sirs". :-\

I always got "ma'am"ed, "miss"ed, etc.... then i cut/styled my hair and started binding, wore guys clothes more often.... Now i get  gender neutral greetings - meaning no labels - as long as i don't talk. Which is fine considering. I just keep my mouth shut lmao.

I'm also pre-t though, and will starting within the next couple of months. Looking forward to it.  :D
