Does spiro really block the effects of progesterone?

I am currently on a regimen of E and spiro, and am considering adding microgest to this. However I've read snippets of info that the spiro might block any effect that the microgest might have. Yet I can also read that many others have both spiro and microgest. Does anybody have any experience or comments on this.

Being already very longterm postop I don't take spiro or anything similar, (in fact they didn't even exist when I was pre-op) but I do take a 28 day cyclic dose of microgest - and indeed have done so for a very long time. (although previously it was a different product)

In theory Progesterone is a chemical precursor to T. So I guess that a T. inhibitor might indeed interact with it, but anyway you really should talk to your doctor or your endo about this, because this is not something to go experimenting with. Please get the expert to decide and you won't then run any silly risks.
