Pink News picked up on a nugget from the Second International Expert Meeting on HIV Prevention for Men who have sex with Men (MSM), Women who have sex with Women (WSW), and Transgenders (TG) report -- a report entitled Moving from intentions to action -- that the rest of us appear to have missed. International Expert Meeting: Moving from intentions to actionIn Pink News' article HIV experts call for declassification of ->-bleeped-<- as mental illness, they note that the report states the following:

    Gender identity variance (->-bleeped-<-) should be reclassified from its current classification as a mental health disorder in the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual and the World Health Organisation's International Classification Of Diseases (ICD).
