I just got the go-ahead today from my boss to use my new first name and dress female on the job.  :D

*does happy dance*

I've been fulltime except for work for a while now, and that's only 2 days a week, so this means come Wednesday when my work week starts I won't have to change out of my usual mode to show up.

Great to hear.  You'll love fulltime.  By the way, what did your boss say about bathroom usage?

Ah, such good news!  I guess there is some progress going on out there.  Maybe I can make a little, at least when I can stop being away at work 26 hours a day.  Please keep informing us of your forward movement.

Thanks everyone! :)

Bathroom usage isn't an issue as there's only one in the office where I work. It's usually just me there anyway.

Congrats, you might want to mark your OUT day on a calendar so that, when you're old like me, you can remember....ah, er, what was the question?

Thanks! Heh, as forgetful as I am now it's hard to imagine what I'll be like when I'm old. :P

Good to see ya around here again. :)

Thanks for the kind words, Julie.  It's good to be back in ol' Susanas Place.

I've seen my mom and my ex's parents all get alzheimers and, you're right.  I keep thinking that I'm losing memory now.  What'll I be like then?  Kind of puts a perspective on our natural tendancies to deliberate, ponder.  I note in your quote (at bottom of your posts) that you're not one to wait for the ship to come in.  I have just one word of advice for the sharks who see you swimming out to the ship...get out of her way!  As the saying goes, you go girl!

Of course!

Thanks! Yeah, I can be pretty insistent sometimes if it's about something I really really want (or need)... at the moment I've fortunately managed to find myself some calm waters. Hmmm, I suppose because of the people who are with me through this, the waters are full of dolphins. :D
