I love Rachel Maddow for a lot of reasons, but the most important one is that she covers news stories with intelligence and humor, something sorely lacking in most journalism outposts these days.

Makes me glad she's on the progressive side.

Take notes MSM. Notice how Rachel covered the unfolding Amanda Simpson presidential appointment story. This is how you RESPECTFULLY cover a story involving a trans person.
