My first thought after SRS was "I'm freakin legal in George Bush's Amerika! " I thought now I can protest the wars and Katrina after effects and if I'm busted, they can't put me in with the guys. Who'd know how bad things would get with the BP spill and the idiots in the "Tea Party". I'm glad it's done cause now I can stop worrying about my issues and concentrate on getting Democrats elected. Our country is at another of many crossroads and an invigorated liberal base is a key element of success. Glad my balls are gone because defeating the GOBP is going to take ovaries of steel.

HAHA :D Ms. Barbara your funny. I like to call them ''Tea Baggers'' :D

Topic: What were your first thoughts after you realised you had had GRS?

in quick succession:
1. it's over already? Are you kidding?
2. OWIE...
3. thank god I made it
4. did I mention, OWIE?!!

took me at least 3 more days until I was able to think of much of anything other than #2 and #4, above. It really didn't hit home until the catheter was out and the packing removed, but since then every single day I think of how wonderful it is, how lucky I am, and how thankful I am to be finally done. I have not had one single regret, and every day just gets better.

Now that I've spent some $25,000 for a vagina, you better believe I can't wait to use it! (hey Jessica- Vin Diesel... mmmmm ;))

my first thought was it really gone? lol cause you know that muscle you have where you can make the penis go up and down? i could swear i could still feel it lol. the nurses kept telling me it's in my mind its really gone. i haven't seen  my vagina yet but knowing its there is so unreal for me.

I think just after surgery when I woke up I had this feeling like someone was stretching it out and slamming it between 2 bricks lol Luckily that didn't last long. All I can say is thank god for morphine lol

the nurses said i was the bravest patient in a long time. I didn't need much morphine at all. i really didn't have much pain.

I thought this is weird cause I knew it was gone because the surgeon had said it was and how successful the operation was and really good results. But the thing is, It took me a while to process the information as you have this T-bandage covering everything and making you look like a sumo wrestler, lol. One thought however was, "I've actually gone through with it."

My first few days were not good but now its incredible, fantastic, awesome and any other word that would tie in with those, lol.

My first thoughts on waking up were:
1. Can it really be over already I just went in. Then found that was 5 hours ago.
2. This has got to be a dream I'm going to wake up from soon.
3. Elation knowing that my life long dream had finally been accomplished and I now had the anatomy I should have been born with.

It seemed like a long time for me, when i woke up. I went in that morning and woke up in the evening. when they said I was down for 6 hours I was shocked lol.

First thing, relief that it was over and I was alive!

Second, huge relief that the last remnant of my female body, the vagina, was GONE FOREVER.

Third, OUCH!!  Turns out the majority of the discomfort was from the drain.

I'm finally ME!  Just keeps getting better as I heal.  Tomorrow I get to see if the junk actually works!!  Might have to throw a party!!  LOL
