The world's most famous drag queen is back at work.

After being out of the spotlight for nearly a decade, RuPaul has a book, Workin' It! RuPaul's Guide to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Style ($19.99, HarperCollins), out next month. And he returns to TV's Logo channel Monday for a second season of his reality show, RuPaul's Drag Race, in which aspirants compete to be the country's next top drag queen. (Think America's Next Top Model in drag and way more entertaining.)

Born RuPaul Andre Charles, he rose to fame with his 1993 CD, Supermodel of the World (You Better Work), which led to movie roles in Spike Lee's Crooklyn (1994) and To Wong Foo Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar (1995) and to the RuPaul Show on VH1. In 1994, he became the first celebrity face for MAC Cosmetics.
