More than people have signed an online petition protesting Pope Benedict XVI's planned visit to the United Kingdom later this year. The anti-pope action was sparked, in part, by a papal speech earlier this week criticizing pro-gay equality legislation in the U.K., The Times of London reports. At this posting, the link to the online petition was down due to high traffic.
