Hello everyone, I'm completely new here. My name is not PaulyD, but I figure it can be my new Alias here. My...*Boyfriend* introduced me to the site.

A little about myself, I'm 21 F, living at home with my parents and my boyfriend, who is in the process of transitioning(FTM). I am finally coming around to the idea that this is what he really needs to do, but its still not fully "ok" in my head . I have worries and hurdles to overcome with it, not to diminish or belittle the hurdles he has to overcome because I know his are much bigger..

I'm hoping to read other S.O stories and learn more about all this....Because it honestly just scares me. (Side note though, now that I have become somewhat comfortable with the idea of this, its weird when people call him her. Which just a couple weeks ago it was weird hearing someone call "her" him...I'm sorry this is confusing)

Background on me, I've been with my boyfriend just short of 2 years now, I'm a Junior in college, and I've never really known anything outside of school, and wont for a while because after Undergrad I wanna go into Law...

Okay pretty sure I've given myself away to him at this point, but I'm gonna stick with my Alias, because well...idk...

But uh...ya....I tend to write a lot and drag on a lot, so feel free to tell me when I do.

I'm pretty sure that after being on here for a bit and reading past and present posts, you'll understand loads and feel more confortable about dealing with things.

Welcome to Susan's, PaulyD (or LG ).

There's a lot of good information and good people here.  Each of our stories is unique but we have a lot in common.  Settle in, pull up a keyboard, and explore.

Be sure to look under the Announcements heading.  There you will find the rules we live by in this little world of ours: "Site Terms of Service and Rules to Live By", "Standard Terms and Definitions", and "Post Ranks".  Look through the other stuff there, too.

I would guess you have found the Significant Other section by now.

This is confusing.  I sometimes think it is harder on those around us - like you - than those who are going through it.  I am transitioning to become whole.  It is something I am doing for myself so that I can become myself.  But I am also dragging along all my friends and family and acquaintances whether they like it or not.   I hope you find answers and support here - that's why we're here.
