You know, in many cultures, men don't even start thinking about permanent relationships till they are in their late 20s.

The world expects a lot from you. It takes a lot of work to deliver.

Other animals which have a similar social structure to humans, most males don't get their chance till they are much older, relatively. It's the top dogs that get the bitches. And the Bitches are not interested in anything but the best.

You have to work at that. Until then, like all men, you will just need to find other ways to relieve your lonileness and frustrations.

Lordkat i don't know how old you are whether i'm being the understanding older brother here or just the pain in the **** little one but honestly you will get there. None of us know what is round the corner and I'm a great believer that we're not just put onto this earth to suffer. Whether its a belief that the medical community will finally give us something that works and is satisfactory to our minds and our other halfs or just the belief that when you meet the one that matters everything else ceases to matter just find something to hang onto. Not even saying you have to do it with a smile at the minute but just tell yourself every day that your as good if not better than everyone else. besides if they don't go for the considerate type become the 'bad boy'

I have the equipment you would like to have had. I wish I could swap places with you.

But I can't use it. It hasn't caused any problems in my relationship with my wife. The opposit in fact. Once I stopped feeling any pressure to be male, we both settled down.

The point is, there are many ways to make each other happy.

I wasn't getting at you with my suggesitons. I'm trying to point out that, with the right person, these things are not very importantl at all.

I hope you both take this with the sincerity with which it's intended, but get over yourselves.

Boys have been worrying about their appearence and especially their organs since time began. But that doesn't matter one jot.

What does is a thoughtful and considerate attitude, being clean, self respect and having some pride in yourself.

Whoever you're with, wants someone who will pay them some attention, not some self conscious egotists worrying about themselves, looking for worship.

As the saying goes, it ain't wat you got, it's wat you do with it.

I understand what you're saying, but really I meant for the statement to be taken tongue-in-cheek.  My point was that I had to step back and decide whether the reality was worth pursuing even when it couldn't match up to the fantasy.  As I said, for me it was.  For someone else it might not be.  *shrugs*  But it's one of those things that can take some time to come to terms with.  Transition is a no-brainer for some.  Others have to juggle their priorities before they can decide whether it's right for them or not.

I accept that I will have some difficulities fully sympathising with problems experienced by people who have different experiences.

But for my part, if I had, or ever do have the opportunity, to change my physic, I will be doing it for me.

If someone want to share my physic and I am inclined, then they will share that physic, not some other.

If you want an omlet, you don't buy icecream.

But I also appreciate that, to a large extent, it is frustration and some sadness being expressed here.

My own contributions have been more to get my own thoughts in some sort of order. But I'm grateful for your responding.

I really hope that you can find some solace.
