TFA Announces New President
http://tgctr.org/tfa/?p=364The TFA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the election of community activist, Lou Weaver as the TFA Board President. Lilly Roddy, the previous Board President, stepped down from the position and nominated Lou. "I wanted to step down from that position. I was happy to lead the Board through recent hardship and now I would like to move into a more supportive role," said Lilly. Lilly was elected Board President at the October 2009 Board meeting. She lead TFA through the loss of it's offices and was instrumental in moving the organization forward toward stability, having spearheaded the effort to restore full operations which are now scheduled for March 2010. "One thing about Lou, if you need someone to get the job done, ask Lou. He is reliable and frank. Two qualities I admire," said Lilly.
