Amsterdam - Tips, advice, Recommendations?

I am off to Amsterdam a week tomorrow, and I was wondering as the title says if any one would be able to give my any advice, tips or recommendations of things to see and do?

This is my first time of going and I am going with one of the girls from work. Just for four days but should be a nice break away.
