How do I read to you?

Based on this picture (and NOT what you know of me otherwise) what would you say?

Boy
Girl
Androgyn

Sevan

Being as I'm in my own skin...I really can't tell how I'm read anymore. I've changed quite a few things about my face in a short amount of time. I cut my hair, colored it and got contacts. It's made a rather drastic difference in my appearance. (I think..) and I know how *I* think I'm presenting...but what about you? What do you think?

(edited to add the picture. Wow. Duh....lol)

Feel free to discuss and leave comments as well if you'd like. (friendly suggestions welcome.)

Alright, so I'm going to assume you mean a full examination.

Face: appears feminine to me; the rosy cheeks, the smile and I think your face looks more leaning towards androgynous in your avatar picture. Additionally, I'm not sure if losing the glasses was a good bet: glasses really affect your face and are great to highlight some features. Ever thought about a more masculine frame?... Also, those cheeks.. Hmz perhaps try some make up or a tan?
Bodytype: I see hourglass, though that might also be because the hands in the pockets accentuate it. Wardrobe can do wonders though.

That pretty much concludes my honest opinion.

Your avatar pic is pretty androgynous, but the one you posted looks very feminine. Your body's sending some cues (hip to shoulder ratio), and from the front with your bright sparkling smile on full blast, you're sending really strong feminine vibes even through the masculine outfit.

A jacket with boxier shoulders and sleeves might eliminate the body cues and leave you looking more andro. Also consider wearing your hat lower on your forehead, higher on your ears and the back of your head. Wearing toques tilted back is a feminine style, while forward is more gender neutral (all the way down over the eyebrows is strongly masculine).

Well, what do you mean by 'androgyn'? You look like an androgynous female bodied person. Is that what you mean?

I think you look like a female.

I'd say female.  As said above, the "rosy cheeks", hat, and smile are feminine, as is the fringe.  Your stance and posture seem more feminine than masculine to me as well.  You have a great smile!

I wasn't really going for any particular "look" I was trying to be comfy and I was trying to be...Me. I am an androgyn so I don't mind appearing girly. I'm not trying to hide it really.

Thank you for the comments. Normally when trying to present masculine I smurk instead of SMILE, I twist slightly so my hips are less obvious....blah blah blah. All that stuff.

I'm not out at work and with the hair cut I was worried I'd just outted myself. A person at another site I'm part of said I don't read female at all and she'd never guess it and that kinda freaked me out cuz for the time being I'm still trying to fit mostly into the woman mold.

I think you look happy and comfortable, like someone comfortable in their own skin.

I think it is a good look.

Androgyn as in...really rather  ??? about the person's birth sex. Truely unsure. (in THIS context...that's what I meant. Yes I know that's not what Androgyns are IN GENERAL)

@Nicky: Awww thanks sweety!

That was me after getting HRT FROM MY GP last night!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!! (Yea...I've been DIY for the last...month. But not anymore!) So I was really feeling just this...radiating light out every pore kinda vibe. hehe

Well, you're close to androgyn in appearance. I think few people can really pull off a completely androgynous look. People automatically visually filter into male and female. I think with a few changes, you'd slip into 'neither' category.
One thing if you're going for androgynous rather than male - T will place you firmly in the male camp. Not so conducive to remaining in the woman mold.

YMMV...this is true. For now I'm on low dose gel. We just did my T level blood draw yesterday so we'll see where Im at with that.

It's possible that transitioning fully male is somewhere in my future. I'm not counting it out. It's just not for now. However T is contributing fully and seriously to my sanity...so we're good with that!

Out of curiosity, what kind of 'friendly suggestions' did you aim for?

I wasn't aiming for anything. Just letting it be known that if you HAD suggestions, thoughts or comments...that they were welcome. I've seen polls where the creator doesn't want anyone to discuss...but just poll so...I was making it known that conversation was/is/continues to be...okie dokie.

As to the poll itself...maybe if I posted an OLD picture of myself...you'd understand why I was worried I was reading male now. I've come a long long way in my style, look, posture.

Thanks for the elaboration. ;)
Personally I'm curious to see the older picture to get a better understanding.

Here's one:

I was working on a collage of old pictures last night and ended up grieving. Oops. Didn't mean to upset myself so. Ah well...such is life. This was...2006 I think? Probably.

Well, you've certainly come a long way from your old picture.

Another vote for feminine here, with the rosy cheeks and big smile, but an observant person would realize that there is ....... something ...... going on with you  :) And you look happy in the new picture as well.
