I lost what remained of the idea that cis GLB people were natural allies of trans people the day I witnessed someone informing a community of trans men that being "stealth" was just like being in the closet. Even giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming they weren't trying to invoke the idea that being trans is inherently deceptive, that's an astounding absence of clue.
