A TRANSSEXUAL and self-styled countess has been jailed for four and a half years for conning the council out of hundreds of thousands of pounds in benefits.

Marianne Jonson, of Rawlings Crescent, Wembley, was found guilty of 23 counts of fraud at Harrow Crown Court today [March 18] after prosecutors demonstrated that she had falsified medical records and applications for benefits to claim £165,000 in disability benefits and accommodation in social housing reserved for disabled people.

Because, of course, her transness is completely relevant. Sigh.

Sigh!

Seems like it's people like that who get those of us who genuinely are "well bred and trans" a bad name! ;)

Hey, here's an experiment! Let's try changing just one word in that headline:

"A BLACK PERSON and self-styled countess has been jailed for four and a half years for conning the council out of hundreds of thousands of pounds in benefits."

They could never get away with a headline like that about a black person. What makes them think it's okay to do the same thing with a transsexual?

Ah panoramaIsland.

There was a time when, anyone who was not of 'British stock', would have that highlighted. But that has been banned by the Race Relations Act, unless it is relevant.

British press tends to like the tut tut effect.

I'm surprised this story hasn't made the front pages of the likes of the Sun or the Star to be honest.

It has everything, Tax payer's money, sex and a peasant acting above their station.

The average journalist, aspiring to be part of the upper classes will be choking on their canapé and Chardonnay with this one.

A con is a con, regardless of who is doing it.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...
