Dear friends,
The Washington Gender Alliance has learned from multiple sources that Marci Bowers, MD will be relocating her practice to San Mateo, CA. sometime this summer, or shortly thereafter. We don't know at what point she will stop performing surgery in Trinidad, CO. in preparation for her move. She will be joining the plastic surgery practice of Joel Beck, MD. His web site is

We felt that even though Dr. Bowers hasn't officially announced this, that because so many of our constituents are dependent on this information, we should pass it along now. People are in various stages of making surgery plans; deciding where they want to go, when, or already have a surgery date with Dr. Bowers, and wish to make their travel arrangements.
Our goal is to provide accurate and timely information to help our clients to navigate their way through their gender journey. For us to withhold this information any longer would be doing a disservice to our community. That would be counter to our organization's mission. Of course what people do with this information is up to them. But without complete information, it's hard to make important decisions. So we're presenting it to you now.
