South Florida. Near West Palm Beach to be more exact. Precise location is a well guarded secret. But is but a short drive from the beach and mall.

Where am I from?  *takes a deep breath*  Well...

Born in Dayton, OH.
Moved to Beaver Creek, OH
Moved to Merced, CA
Moved to Suisun City, CA
Moved to Walnut Creek, CA
Moved to Chevrier in the Hâute-Savoie just across the border from Geneva Switzerland
Moved to Boularis on the Côte D'Azur
Moved back to Suisun City, CA
Moved to San Francisco, CA
Moved to Herforst, in the Eifel region of Germany
Moved to Yelm, WA
Moved to Seattle, WA
Moved briefly to Sacramento, CA before moving to
Fischbach, in the Reinland-Pfalz area of Germany
Moved to a small town near Küsel.  (On the border between Reinland-Pfalz and Saarland.
Moved to London, England
Moved back to Küsel
Moved to Benicia, CA (after a couple months stay in Vacaville)
Moved to Aurora, IL
Moved to Chicago, IL
Moved to a small town in WI, just outside of the Twin Cities, MN ...

*lets out remaining breath*  Where I currently reside.

I love the people here in the TC area.  They are very friendly and accepting of diversity.  I actually like the long snowy winters.  I'd much rather shovel snow than mow grass.  And it's great having affordable skiing so nearby.  I also like the low crime rate, and here in the St. Croix river valley the scenery is very pretty.

The only things I don't like are that the Twin Cities aren't real cities as I would define them.  That is to say, they don't have much of a "city" feel.  More like a large suburban sprawl.  And the food does tend to be very bland.  I still haven't managed to find any really good Mexican food.  (And speaking of "West-Mex", anybody ever tried Taco John's?  It's the weirdest "Mexican" food I've ever eaten.  Think Taco Bell, but blander - yes, that is apparently possible - with tater tots added to the burritos. o.O )

i like the city here, but living in the same place you were born it, does get quite boring after a while.

yeah, outside downtown there isn't much in the way of high-rise buildings, annoying in my book

I was born in Still Water, Oklahoma and till I was about three months I stayed there but after an while my mother moved us to Dallas, Texas which I stayed there till I was about six and then we placed ourselves into Arizona which we stayed there for an year and finally since then for about an decade now I've been living in Ontario, California which constantly gets confused with Ontario, Canada.

The good segments of where I live is the weather is normally right in the middle or warm, I live near L.A. and Hollywood...Right by the airport, small town, small population and good victuals.

The bad is we're prone to the resonating aches of earthquakes, too much city and not enough farms, lots of fog from L.A., a-hat people, run by very gangster-ish hoodlums, very ignorant; Uneducated people and an lot of traffic.

I ended up in Los Angeles because it does not leave ice on the windshield of my car, ever. On the other hand, there is traffic. But there is the most incredible variety of trees! and traffic. There is a great LGBTQ community and Center. and traffic. Lots of varieties of food / restaurants available - and great vegetarian options. and traffic. Oh and earthquakes. At least in traffic I can listen to music and practice patience and being in the moment.

Before LA, I lived in Lincoln Nebraska, Cambridge Massachusetts, Toronto Ontario Canada, Arlington Virginia, Las Cruces New Mexico, Denver Colorado, Holcomb Kansas, Hackensack New Jersey, and born in Seattle Washington.

My father was not military, he just had a vagabond in his soul, and kept chasing his dream of being a pastor.

For this part of my life, this is where I need to be. Weird androgynous people are more common here than anywhere else I've been.

I've lived in Liverpool my whole life. It's a pretty decent place to live. Great nightlife, lots of places of interest to visit, three universities, cool people, easy to get to other parts of the UK.

Melbourne Australia. It's pretty good, some places have good culture and food and such but like Skyler said it would be good to travel a bit, when i'm older. It does get boring after a while.

Terra Anne

I'm from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Pros ::  It's only a short walk to Halifax which has many very interesting people, and a wicked skate park.  We have an incredible music scene, tons of awesome bands come here, and alot of good bands/djs come from here :)

Cons :: I'm not a big fan of the city  :(

For me, if I get my SSDI, I am thinking maybe trading this trailer in for a Class C Motorhome and tour the county, before I can't.  So my dear Brothers and Sisters, if this occurs, don't be surprised if you have a knock at your door and there is a Motorhome parked out front.  :icon_yikes:

The door is open and the beer is cold, Janet. :)  Just be prepared to take me along with you for the ride!  ROAD TRIP!!! 8)

Wher do I want to be? That's a difficult one, I like ice skating so don't mind the cold, and would like to be near the sea, and need good motorcycle mountain roads.  So far it looks like Tasmania, New Zealand, Scotland or Canada.  Sounds like another OS holiday or two is needed.

I'm from Finland, a small country in Northern Europe. Born here, been living here for my whole life. I'd love to able to get on the road and see the world some day. The tens of holiday trips I've made with my parents over the years may have something to do with that. :) Well, I still (hopefully...) have decades to make all that reality. :) There don't seem to be too many people from around here posting at Susan's, btw...
